This slot breaks the mold of simple online slots which Novomatic are best known for. Instead of 1 set of 5 reels, you are playing with 4 sets in this game. Each one is simple enough, with 20 pay lines and basic, blocky symbols. When you combine the 4 the added interest and intensity of the game adds up. Individually, I would probably not be recommending a set of reels with a couple of fruits and playing card symbols on. When combined, the effect is surprisingly entertaining.

Don’t expect too much from the graphics of 4 King Cash. In order to fit 4 sets of reels onto the screen, the level of detail of the symbols needed to be low. There are some nice effects, like stars circling around the set of reels where action is taking place. The horrible bleepy Novomatic ‘signature’ reel spinning sound does happen in this game, but this can be switched off – leaving you the more pleasant (if unexceptional) noises for wins.

There is a break out feature of sorts in this game, where the king appears with a second 3-reel game in his belly. This gives you the chance to line up 7’s for some bigger wins. This can happen either on one set of reels (which becomes bigger) or on all 4 at once.

There are 4 sets of 5 reels, each with 3 rows of symbols. While you are playing for 20 lines per spin, you are spinning 4 times. This is balanced by the lower individual payouts of course – though the fact that 80 lines are not required can only be a good thing. You can use auto-play, and the spin cost can be from 20c through to $100.

The Kings are the top symbols in this game, and are worth up to 500 coins with all 5. Most of the other symbols are low paying, though you will get a lot of wins to balance this.
